In this fun flashcard game you and your children can learn about some of the most important and influential personalities in history, especially those from the Muslim world. This resource showcases influential figures from both the mainstream and Islamic world in one place, to show how they all contributed to the different fields of work that changed the way we live our lives today, and are all equally important.

This resource aims to highlight the achievements of our rich Islamic heritage along with the more mainstream personalities from around the world. My emphasis was on including deserving personalities from diverse backgrounds and in particular highlighting the important role women have played in our history. There are many more significant people to introduce but I have carefully selected these names for the purpose of this resource.

In this resource you will find 48 flashcards in a 'who am I' format, these were created to be used as a game or as a learning tool/flashcard. You each take turns reading the clues, while the other guesses the name of the person. If a child shows interest in a particular figure you can then discuss and learn more about them. The best part is, you can learn along with them!
